The four steps
Pick a topic and your level
Choose anything you actually want to read about (your dog, ancient Sparta, a taverna mystery) and set your level, from absolute-beginner A0 through CEFR C1. The story is written for that level: sentence length, tense range, and vocabulary all match it.
Generate a story in natural Modern Greek
In a few seconds you get an original story in natural, contemporary Greek, not textbook dialogues. Every story is new, so you never run out of reading material at your exact level.
Read actively: audio and tap-to-translate
Listen to the story as you read to anchor pronunciation and rhythm. Tap any word or sentence you don't know for an instant translation. No dictionary tab-switching, no losing your place.
Save the good ones, build your book
Keep the stories you love in your library, then compile them into a printable, book-sized PDF reader. It's the graded Greek reader that doesn't exist in any bookshop, because you wrote the brief for it.
Why "at your level" matters so much
Language researchers call it comprehensible input: you acquire a language fastest from material you understand about 90% of, so context teaches you the remaining 10%. Native content is usually too hard, and textbooks are too thin. Generated stories solve both: unlimited material, written for you. See what each level looks like in our Greek reading level guides.
About the AI, plainly
Every story is written by AI. We'd rather say that clearly than let you wonder. What makes it work isn't the AI alone, it's the brief it's held to: a specific, measurable rule per level (sentence length, tense range, vocabulary) instead of a loose instruction like "write easy Greek." See the exact rule for your level in the reading level guides.
For grounded topics like Greek mythology, Bible stories and classical philosophy, the AI doesn't invent. Each retelling is grounded in one real, named source (Apollodorus for a myth, the Gospels for a Bible story, the philosopher's own text for a philosophy passage), so the names, events, and ideas stay true. Only the Greek gets simpler or harder to match your level.
The same technology is what makes personalization possible: add your name, place, family, or interests once, and every new story can weave them in automatically. It's also what keeps the well from ever running dry, an endless supply of fresh stories, each one still written for your exact level, not just generated at random.
